COVID Update

Starting March 12, masks will be optional but no longer required at Galaxy Kids Code Club. Please note that the California Department of Public Health still strongly recommends masks in schools and child care settings. We will continue to provide masks for those that choose to wear them in class.

We ask you to continue to watch for symptoms and keep your coder home if they are ill. We are happy to work with you to arrange make-up classes.

Upcoming Camps & Workshops

We have lots of exciting camps and workshops coming up to keep young minds active during school breaks. Coders can expand their coding skills while also having fun. We are bringing back some of our favorites, Roblox Camps and Stop Motion Animation. We have some brand new camps planned as well. Follow this link for details and registration!

Fall Schedules

The studio has opened for in-person classes as of June!

Our regular coding classes run year-round, including the summer months. We have reduced the number of available class times for the summer and will resume our full class schedule starting September 1st. If you have not reserved your spot for fall, please contact us as soon as possible. Classes are filling up!

Fall group classes will be held in-person. If you still would like your child to participate virtually we will have a few time slots available for students to join virtually. You can also switch to our virtual 1-on-1 private lessons

Jr. Code Club (ages 5-7)

Finally a class just for our youngest coders! This class is full of fun activities geared towards helping kids explore their creativity and learn age-appropriate programming concepts. Many activities are “unplugged” (no screens). Coders will also code short programs with Osmo and ScratchJr using an iPad. Classes are 45 minutes long.

The next session will meet on Thursdays, Apr 7 – May 12 at 3:00 pm. Sign up for the entire 6-week session for $135. We also offer a drop-in option for $25/class. Sign up here!

Coding Challenge

The theme for the next coding challenge is Lucky Charms (yes like the cereal!). This is your coders chance to practice what they’ve learned by creating a custom project of their own. Entry deadline is April 8th. The prize raffle will take place on April 15, 5:15 PM (right before Game Night begins).

Game Night

The next Virtual Game Night will be April 15th at 5:30 PM PT. This is free for all currently enrolled students. There is a small $10 fee for all others.

Open Instructor Positions

We are in search of part-time instructors to assist with our introductory level classes. Coding experience is a plus but not strictly required – we provide training and curriculum. Must have experience working with children ages 3-10 and be passionate about learning and teaching technology. Great position for a college student, second job, or stay-at-home parent. Email us at
