Great job to all the coders that participated in the Winter Coding Challenge. We held a drawing on February 4th and awarded 9 prizes. Congratulations!

Spring Coding Challenge

The theme for our Spring Coding Challenge is “Let’s Go Fly a Kite”. Coders can use any language of their choice to create a project within the theme for a chance to win a prize. Scratch coders can access the resource pack here. The submission deadline is March 31, 2021.

Zoom Classrooms

You can now find the Zoom meeting info and links to all group classes and special events (including game night and contest drawings) on our website. Each class time has its own unique Meeting ID that stays the same from week to week. So if your coder has a make-up class at a different time than usual, this page will come in handy to make sure you are accessing the correct virtual classroom. For those taking private lessons, please continue using the weekly reminder emails and texts for your class information.

We have students from many different school districts as well as several homeschoolers, so Spring Break does pose some scheduling challenges. We tend to follow our local public school schedule (Brentwood Union School District) and will observe Spring Break the week of March 15 – March 20. No regular classes will be held during this time. If your Spring Break falls outside of these dates and your coder will miss class due to vacation, please let us know so we can arrange a make-up.
Spring Camps

Registration is now open for Spring Coding Camps. We have Roblox Camps and Website Building for ages 8+ and Scratch Jr. for ages 4-7. More info here: Camp Sign Ups

Summer Camps (in-person!)
We are excited to announce that we do plan to offer IN PERSON camps this summer! We are working out the details and will have more to share next week.
Game Night
The next Virtual Game Night will be March 19th at 4:30 PM PT. This is free for all currently enrolled students. There is a small $10 fee for all others.
