Virtual Tech Camps

From the safety of home

kids learn code, virtual tech camp, computer camp, minecraft, roblox

Galaxy Kids Code Club will be hosting all camps virtually this summer. Our mission is being reinforced daily by the current worldwide crisis that is COVID-19. The need for innovators and creative problem-solving is now more apparent than ever. These are the very skills children begin to develop when learning to code in our virtual tech camps.

Research shows that children exposed to computer science in elementary school are much more likely to pursue a C.S. degree. In fact, according to a Google survey, 98 percent of computer science majors were exposed to the field before college. Benefits of coding include:

  • Through coding, kids build skills that are in high demand
  • Provides a competitive advantage when applying to college, internships, and jobs
  • Enables students to better understand the world
  • Coding is fun and satisfying
  • Offers a way to express creativity
  • Builds problem-solving skills
  • Improves persistence, collaboration, and communication

Virtual Tech Camp Overview

We get that your kids may be growing weary of online learning. We guarantee their virtual camp experience with Galaxy Kids Code Club will be engaging and fun. Students will create projects that they are excited to share with you. Our camps offer kids the opportunity to build in-demand skills, socialize with peers who share a common interest, and express creativity in a fun and structured environment. We have developed these virtual tech camps around the idea that kids are more willing to learn something new if it is connected to something they already love – games

You will benefit too, knowing your kids are engaged in a constructive activity that you don’t have to plan or manage! There are options to fit every schedule and budget.

Need a computer?

We have loaner computers! We will provide a sanitized Mac Book Pro laptop with all the needed software already installed. So if your child does not have access to a computer at home, or you prefer not to install additional software on your own computer, we can help! This offer is available for those in the Brentwood area. We will make arrangements for you to pick up the laptop via curbside pickup at our location in downtown Brentwood. Contact us for details.
